Wild-eyed, with feathers fluffed and flying, the crazy chicken struts and pecks around the barnyard.
I love animals in all shapes and sizes, and find them very fun to photograph. This chicken’s antics were quite amusing, and caught my eye. I took this photograph through the wires of its enclosure, where it spends its time with other chickens, geese, and ducks. While small urban and suburban chicken coops are currently all the rage, if I had room to keep fowl outside, I’d probably choose ducks – not for their eggs, but simply because they are so darn cute.
